Milwaukee Looks to Win First Title Since 1971 on Tuesday Night

NBA Finals Game 6 Betting Odds, Parlay Picks & Props Predictions on Phoenix vs Milwaukee

In the last two games, the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns have treated us to some incredible high level basketball as they battle it out for the NBA championship.

Consider this, in Saturday night’s 123-119 loss, the Suns outscored the Bucks 37-21 in the first quarter. They shot 90.9% from the line, 68.4% from the 3-point line and 55.2% from the field and they lost!

Milwaukee, for the first time all series got massive contributions on offense in the same game from their big-three of Giannis Antetokounmpo (32 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists), Khris Middleton (29 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists) and especially Jrue Holiday (27 points, 13 assists).

They shot slightly poorer, making only 52.9% of their free throws, 50% from the 3-point line and 57.5% from the field. The difference was they took more three-pointers, connecting on 14 to Phoenix’ 13 and collecting 11 offensive rebounds to the Suns 8 in what ended up being a four-point margin of victory.

Both teams fully embraced what was at stake in game five, since it would put the winner one game away from a title and they left it out on the floor.

Similar to game four, the difference at the end was arguably a turnover by the Suns from one of their most important players. In game four it was Chris Paul and in game five it was Devin Booker who had the ball ripped away by Holiday.

Holiday then threw it up for a monster alley-oop by Giannis to seal the game.

The big question for game six is if both teams have enough left in the tank to produce a third high efficiency nail biter in a row.

One thing we have not seen since early in the series is an involved Chris Paul for four quarters. On Saturday night he was huge in the Suns rally down the stretch hitting on multiple three-pointers on his way to a 21-point scoring night and 9-15 shooting overall. But he also seemed to disappear for large stretches of the second and third quarter when the Bucks took over the game.

Just as Holliday had his best game of the series on Friday, the Suns will need Paul to do the same in this game to give them their best chance to take the series back to Phoenix for a winner take all game seven on Thursday.

Phoenix at Milwaukee - Game 6 (ABC, 9:00 pm ET)
Milwaukee -5 - O/U 222

For two games in a row we’ve seen the Bucks have just a little more left in the tank over four quarters and how it translated into a win. These are games being won by the slimmest of margins and the Bucks playoff experience, rebounding and clutch shooting are putting them over the top. On Tuesday I think we’re in for a repeat with the Suns keeping it competitive for the majority of the game, but the Bucks behind their electric home crowd pull away at the end.
