How Does College Football 1st Half Betting Work ?
In college football, you can place bets on the first half of a game separately from the full game. These bets are similar to traditional “totals” or “over/under” bets, but they only apply to the first half of the game.
For example, you might see a line for the first half of a college football game that looks like this:
First Half Totals: Over 10.5 (-110) Under 10.5 (-110)
In this case, you can place a bet on whether the combined score of both teams in the first half of the game will be over or under 10.5 points. The minus sign (-) indicates the favorite, while the plus sign (+) indicates the underdog. In this case, both the over and under are listed at -110, which means that you would have to wager $110 to win $100.
You can also place bets on individual quarters of a game. For example, you might see a line for the first quarter that looks like this:
First Quarter Totals: Over 2.5 (-110) Under 2.5 (-110)
In this case, you can place a bet on whether the combined score of both teams in the first quarter of the game will be over or under 2.5 points.
