The Eastern Conference-leading Milwaukee Bucks face off against the Sacramento Kings on Monday as they attempt to bounce back from a 125-116 overtime loss to the Golden State Warriors. Despite missing two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, it was another two-time MVP in Steph Curry who made the difference for the Warriors despite his late scoring burst. The Bucks are 19-3 in their last 20 games but haven’t lost two consecutive games since January 12th and 14th. This challenge is likely to be an exciting matchup between two of the NBA’s top teams.
Looking into the injury report, the Kings are going into Monday night’s game with a healthy lineup. As for the Bucks, they will have Wesley Matthews back into the lineup, however they are questionable with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Now as we look into some trends, the ATS seems to be in favor of both teams so it won’t matter for Monday. However my prediction for this game depends on the Greek Freak. If he sits this one out, which seems to be the case, I’m taking the Sacramento Kings to cover the spread at +1 for my free pick. The Kings will again take the opportunity to make a statement and get the win against the best team in the NBA who will be without their star player. Just like Saturday night versus the Suns. If Giannis is good to player, I’d put my money on the bucks.
