Georgia Bulldogs Betting Preview

The No. 12 Georgia Bulldogs return home looking for redemption after a gut-wrenching 24-21 loss to Alabama ended their nation-best 33-game home winning streak. The setback also dropped them seven spots in the rankings and gave Kirby Smart’s crew their first taste of humility in quite a while.

Now sitting at 3-1 (1-1 SEC), the Bulldogs host a Kentucky team they’ve beaten 15 straight times, and the timing couldn’t be better for Georgia to reset and reassert its SEC dominance. Despite last week’s loss, the Bulldogs enter as 20-point favorites, and Smart has made it clear his squad won’t take the Wildcats lightly.

Georgia’s passing attack will need a bounce-back game after Gunner Stockton threw for just 130 yards against Alabama, their lowest total through the air since 2022. With a stout offensive line and a defense still allowing under 21 points per game, the Bulldogs are poised to take care of business in front of a home crowd eager to start a new streak.

Kentucky Wildcats Betting Preview

Kentucky enters Saturday’s showdown in Athens with a 2-2 record and looking to shake off a 35-13 beating by South Carolina. The Wildcats have now dropped seven straight SEC games and face a Bulldogs team out for blood after their own upset.

Head coach Mark Stoops still chasing his first win against Georgia, knows what’s coming. He called the Bulldogs one of the most physical teams they face each season and understands this isn’t an ideal moment to try to end their losing skid.

With starting QB Zach Calzada sidelined, redshirt freshman Cutter Boley will again be under center. Boley struggled last week, completing only 52% of his passes with two interceptions. Kentucky’s defense has also shown cracks, and their run-heavy offensive identity may not be enough to keep pace.

Game Prediction & Betting Angle

Georgia’s defense is elite, and with Kentucky starting a redshirt freshman QB who’s still finding his footing, this matchup sets up as a classic rebound opportunity. Georgia’s offense should get back on track, and the Bulldogs’ physical edge on both sides of the ball could be too much for Kentucky to handle. Kentucky’s offense may not contribute enough to push the total over.

Final Score:  Georgia 34, Kentucky 10
Lean: Georgia -19.5
Total:
Under 48.5
