Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Orlando Magic: Betting Preview & Prediction

Spread: Cleveland -10.0 | Total: 219.5

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers have been nearly unstoppable, even when key players are sidelined. With Donovan Mitchell missing the last two games, Cleveland hasn’t skipped a beat, extending their franchise-record winning streak to 16 games after a 133-124 victory over Memphis.

Evan Mobley led the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Darius Garland added 20 points and nine assists in another impressive team effort. Cleveland shot 50% from the field and never trailed for more than a minute, showcasing their depth and discipline.

Head coach Kenny Atkinson praised the team’s focus, stating, “We’re obviously talented, we’re very skilled, we’re connected and we play with enthusiasm. But with that, you’ve got to come out with force and focus. And we did all of the above. It was a stellar performance.”

The Cavaliers have been dominant at home and on the road, boasting an NBA-best 26-6 road record. They have already handled Orlando twice this season, winning by 11 and 40 points in their previous meetings. If Mitchell plays, this could get out of hand quickly.

Orlando Magic

The Magic are clinging to the eighth seed in the East, but they’ve struggled for consistency, splitting the first four games of their five-game road trip.

Despite a valiant effort in a 118-111 loss to Minnesota, Paolo Banchero was a standout performer, dropping 43 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The second-year forward has been on fire, scoring 20+ points in nine straight games.

The Magic may also be without Cole Anthony, who has missed the last two games due to a toe strain. His status remains day-to-day, leaving Orlando short on playmaking options.

A bright spot for the Magic has been Caleb Houstan, who stepped up with a season-high 18 points, drilling six three-pointers. Head coach Jamahl Mosley has praised his work ethic, and if Orlando wants to keep this game close, they’ll need contributions from role players like Houstan.

Betting Prediction & Final Score

Cleveland has completely outclassed Orlando in their first two matchups this season, including a 40-point blowout in February. Even if Mitchell sits, the Cavaliers have too much depth and are rolling with incredible momentum.

Orlando will need another monster game from Banchero, but without consistent secondary scoring, the Magic could struggle to keep pace with a Cavs team that ranks top-five in defensive efficiency.

Final Score Prediction: Cleveland 116, Orlando 101
Best Bet: Cavaliers -10
