Anthony Davis has been on fire lately, averaging 33.0 points, 13.8 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks over his last five games. Despite taking a hard hit in the previous game against Memphis that left him bloodied, he is expected to lead the Los Angeles Lakers in their upcoming home game against the Toronto Raptors on Friday. The Lakers are currently in ninth place in the Western Conference standings and are pushing hard to secure a spot in the play-in tournament. Davis played exceptionally well in their recent victory against Memphis, scoring 30 points and grabbing 22 rebounds despite being injured during the game.
Looking into some injuries, the Lakers will be without Lebron James again and as for the Raptors, they have a healthy lineups ready to go. When it comes to trends, nothing really relevant pops up but all-in-all the Lakers have been on fire ever since they traded Russell Wesbrook. The team has been meshing quite well and they’re doing it without LBJ in the lineup. Anthony Davis is stepping up and I expect him to do the same tonight.
