San Antonio vs Chicago Preview & Prediction

Spread: San Antonio -4.0
Moneyline: San Antonio (-165)
Total: 236.5

San Antonio Spurs Betting Outlook

The Spurs are starting to look dangerous again, and a big part of that is the return of De’Aaron Fox. After missing the first two weeks with a hamstring issue, Fox made his Spurs debut in style, dropping 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting against New Orleans. Rust? Barely noticeable. His speed and control immediately lifted San Antonio’s offense, and it’s clear why the team was eager to get him back.

Head coach Charles Lee has the Spurs leading the Southwest Division with a blend of pace, spacing, and creativity. Victor Wembanyama looked locked in too, notching 18 points and 18 rebounds, his first double-double since October. With those two healthy, San Antonio suddenly looks like a real problem in the West.

The Spurs have lost six straight to the Bulls since 2023, but that trend could shift. San Antonio enters as a 4-point favorite, and with their balanced scoring and newfound chemistry, they have the edge in both depth and rhythm heading into this matchup.

Player Prop Pick: Victor Wembanyama Over 11.5 Rebounds — Chicago struggles against size, and Wemby has rediscovered his glass-cleaning rhythm.

Chicago Bulls Betting Outlook

The Bulls are in a rut, losing two straight and three of their last four, and they’ve been coughing up big leads like it’s part of the game plan. Chicago blew a 19-point cushion against Cleveland and another 16-point edge the night before. Billy Donovan’s squad still looks talented, but the execution down the stretch has been rough.

Nikola Vucevic continues to be their rock, averaging nearly 25 points and 11 rebounds per game in his last five against San Antonio. Patrick Williams has quietly become more consistent offensively, scoring in double figures in five straight outings. The bigger concern lies in backcourt production, Josh Giddey has struggled to create separation, and the offense has looked stagnant when spacing collapses.

Donovan acknowledged the team’s ball movement has to improve, saying they need to “force help” the way elite scorers like Giannis and Mitchell do. Without that inside-out dynamic, Chicago’s offense too often settles for contested jumpers. If they can’t control the tempo against Fox and Wembanyama, it could be another long night.

Player Prop Pick: Nikola Vucevic Over 18.5 Points — His history against the Spurs and current offensive load make him Chicago’s most reliable scorer here.

NBA Final Score & Expert Prediction

The Spurs are trending upward with Fox back and Wembanyama regaining form, while the Bulls are trending in the opposite direction after multiple blown leads. San Antonio’s improved ball movement and energy should carry them past a reeling Chicago team still searching for answers late in games.

Final Score:  Spurs 121, Bulls 113
Lean:  San Antonio -4.0
