Let’s face it, the 30-60 Chicago White Sox are not exactly setting the South Side on fire. Unless it’s a dumpster. This team is like your unreliable uncle: occasionally shows up big, but mostly just causes headaches.
They’re 19-24 at home, which isn’t awful, but also not intimidating unless you’re scared of mediocrity. When they score five or more runs, they win! Problem is, that happens about as often as a polite honk in New York City.
Sean Burke (4-7, 4.03 ERA) gets the start and he’s been fine… in the same way lukewarm coffee is “fine.” He’s got decent strikeout stuff but against this Toronto lineup? He might want to update his LinkedIn.
Lenyn Sosa’s been heating up like leftover pizza, not flashy, but still satisfying and Chase Meidroth is doing his best to provide offense, even if the team’s collective vibe is “quiet quitting.”

Blue Jays offense keeps it rolling and wins comfortably. Sox hang around early, but bullpen says, “Nah.” Another L.
