No. 2 Texas aims to maintain its intensity and focus on long-term goals as it hosts UTSA in Austin this Saturday.
Last week, Texas delivered a convincing 31-12 victory over Michigan, propelling them from third to second in the AP rankings, just behind Georgia. Texas showcased its offensive strength with Quinn Ewers throwing for 246 yards and three touchdowns, and key receptions from Gunnar Helm and Matthew Golden contributing significantly to the win. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian emphasized the necessity of continual improvement to achieve their season ambitions.
