Game Preview
The Vegas Golden Knights will be counting on their top line when they face the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday. The trio of Ivan Barbashev, Jack Eichel, and Mark Stone has combined for seven goals and 16 assists across four games, driving Vegas to three wins.
"They’ve been our best offensive line, and they should be," said coach Bruce Cassidy.
Despite the loss of key players like Jonathan Marchessault and William Karlsson, Vegas started strong with 15 goals in their first three games but struggled in their recent 4-2 loss to Washington.
Injury concerns arose as Victor Olofsson, a key offseason pickup, left the game with an apparent leg injury. Olofsson had just scored his third goal of the season but left the ice late in the third period.
