The one bright spot is Nathan Eovaldi (11-3, 1.76 ERA), who has been nearly untouchable. Slade Cecconi (5-6, 4.50 ERA) draws the start and enters on a rough stretch. He’s winless in his last five appearances and just gave up a season-high eight runs in fewer than five innings against Atlanta. While he has thrown well in limited work against Texas in relief, Cecconi’s recent struggles make this a tall order against a motivated Rangers lineup.
