Golden State Warriors vs. Philadelphia 76ers Betting Preview

Golden State -8.0 | Total: 227

The Philadelphia 76ers, mired in a nine-game losing streak, are set to face Stephen Curry and the red-hot Golden State Warriors on Saturday night. With Joel Embiid officially ruled out for the rest of the season, the Sixers now face a steep uphill battle just to sneak into the Eastern Conference play-in tournament.

Meanwhile, Golden State is surging, having won five straight games, and is closing in on the No. 6 seed in the West. With Curry coming off a monster 56-point performance, the Warriors are primed to continue their dominance.

Philadelphia 76ers: Searching for Answers

The 76ers (31-27) are in complete free fall, losing nine straight and tumbling out of playoff position. Without Embiid, their hopes rest on Tyrese Maxey and Paul George, but even those two haven’t been enough to stop the skid.

In their 110-105 loss to the Knicks on Wednesday, Maxey put up 30 points, but shot just 12-of-32 from the field and 0-for-10 from three while dealing with a right finger sprain.

“I can’t really pound the ball like I want to, but I’m not gonna make excuses,” Maxey said.

Paul George added 25 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, but committed seven turnovers, showing the team’s ongoing struggles with ball control.

Despite the valiant effort against the Knicks, Philadelphia has now failed to cover in six of its last seven games. Their defensive issues and inconsistent shooting will make it tough to keep pace with Golden State’s high-octane offense.

Golden State Warriors: Curry on Fire, Team Rolling

The Warriors (32-25) are on a five-game winning streak, and Stephen Curry is the biggest reason why. In Thursday’s 121-115 victory over Orlando, Curry dropped a season-high 56 points, drilling 12 three-pointers and single-handedly carrying the offense.

“We’re spoiled around here,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “But it never gets old watching.”

Golden State rallied from a 17-point deficit before Curry erupted in the second half, helping them secure the win in the first game of their five-game road trip.

With Curry averaging 24.0 points, 6.0 assists, and 1.1 steals, he remains one of the most dangerous scoring threats in the league. And with the Sixers’ shaky perimeter defense, he could be in for another big night.

This marks the final meeting between these teams this season. The Warriors crushed Philadelphia 139-105 in their first matchup on Jan. 2, with Curry going a perfect 8-for-8 from deep on his way to 30 points.

Betting Prediction & Player Props

Spread Pick: Warriors -8.0 – Golden State is hot, and Philadelphia is trending in the wrong direction without Embiid.

Total Pick: Over 227 – Both teams can push the pace, and the Sixers’ defense has been shaky.

Player Prop to Watch: Stephen Curry Over 30.5 Points – Coming off a 56-point game, facing a Sixers team that struggles to defend the perimeter.

Player Prop to Watch: Tyrese Maxey Over 5.5 Assists – With George handling much of the scoring, Maxey will likely shift to more of a playmaker role.

Final Prediction: Warriors 120, 76ers 109
