The Connecticut Sun hopes to fend off elimination one more time as they host the Las Vegas Aces at Mohegan Sun Arena for Game 4 of the 2022 WNBA Finals today.
A change of venue did the trick for Connecticut, who put on a dominating performance with the highest winning score of the series so far when it flipped to Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday.
The Sun won 105-76, with massive leads in the first (34-19) and fourth (28-7) quarters that more than made up for the Aces slightly outscoring them in the middle.
Jonquel Jones led the scoring for the Sun with 20 points, but had significant support from teammates DeWanna Bonner (18), Alyssa Thomas (16) and Natisha Hiedeman (14). The Aces’ Jackie Young outscored all of them with 22 points, but it wasn’t enough to carry Vegas to victory.
