The Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies are set to play on Thursday night. Both teams are struggling in the Western Conference standings and need a win, but face challenges such as injuries and personal reasons keeping key players out of action. The Warriors have lost seven games in a row on the road and Andrew Wiggins has been away from the team for personal reasons since February 14. Despite this, members of the organization have encouraged him to take care of his business before returning. The Grizzlies have managed to stay competitive despite their own difficulties this season.
Digging into some injuries, the Warriors will be playing without Gary Payton and Andrew Wiggins on Thursday night. Memphis will be without Ja Morant, Brandon Clarke and Steven Adams.
Now for some trends, the Warriors have not been good at covering the spread on the road lately. They are 0-4-1 on the ATS in their last 5 road games versus a team with a winning home record, and they are also 0-6-1 on the ATS in their 7 last road games overall. However, the last time these two teams met this year, the Warriors have covered the ATS. And not only that, but Golden State also have Steph Curry back in the lineup and the Grizzlies will be be playing without their star player Ja Morant as he is suspended for at least four more games.
