Milwaukee vs LA Dodgers MLB Playoff Preview & Pick
Moneyline: LA Dodgers -192
Spread: LA Dodgers -1.5 (+117)
Total: 8.0
Los Angeles Dodgers: One Win Away from the World Series
The Dodgers are a victory away from punching their ticket to another World Series, and this time, the baseball gods hand them Shohei Ohtani, the ultimate two-way weapon to seal the deal.
After three straight lights-out performances from Blake Snell, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Tyler Glasnow, Los Angeles has shown why it owns the best rotation in baseball. The trio has combined for 27 strikeouts and allowed only three runs in the first three games, turning this NLCS into a masterclass in pitching dominance.
The offense hasn’t exactly exploded, but it hasn’t needed to. Mookie Betts and Tommy Edman continue to come through in clutch moments, while Ohtani finally showed signs of life with a leadoff triple in Game 3.
Ohtani takes the mound Friday after 12 days of rest, aiming to deliver a knockout performance both as a pitcher and a hitter. His lone postseason start was a win over the Phillies, where he struck out nine and allowed just three runs in six innings. If his stuff is sharp, Milwaukee could be in for another long night.
Player Prop Pick (Los Angeles): Shohei Ohtani Over 7.5 Strikeouts (+110) – Fresh, focused, and in command, Ohtani should rack up Ks against a struggling Brewers lineup.
Milwaukee Brewers: Fighting to Stay Alive
It’s desperation time in Milwaukee. The Brewers’ bats have gone ice-cold, scoring only three total runs through the first three games of the NLCS. Caleb Durbin has been one of the few bright spots, accounting for nearly one-third of the team’s hits in the series.
Milwaukee has been flat with runners in scoring position, going a miserable 1-for-8 across the last two games. Jake Bauers’ RBI single in Game 3 was the lone moment of offensive life before the lineup went quiet again.
Manager Pat Murphy has been coy about his pitching plans for Game 4, but it’s likely veteran lefty Jose Quintana will handle the bulk of the innings. With the Dodgers feasting on mistakes, Milwaukee needs a near-perfect outing to extend its season.
The Brewers’ power play has been missing, and unless someone steps up to ignite the offense, this series could be over before the weekend even begins.
Player Prop Pick (Milwaukee): Christian Yelich Over 0.5 Hits (-160) – Yelich hasn’t found much success this series, but he’s too experienced to stay silent for long.
Prediction
The Brewers look outmatched, while the Dodgers are firing on all cylinders with a rested Ohtani ready to take center stage. Expect Los Angeles to close it out in style and punch its ticket to the World Series.
