Duke Blue Devils Betting Breakdown

Duke rolls into Chicago looking every bit like a top five squad, stacking wins and flexing in high profile neutral site battles. Texas? Kansas? Handled. The Blue Devils want every spotlight game they can get, and this Thanksgiving night stage delivers another opportunity to show off the depth and polish that has defined their undefeated start.

Freshman star Cameron Boozer continues to look like a cheat code, leading Duke with smooth scoring, underrated playmaking and poise well beyond his years. Even opposing coaches admit that doubling him often just opens the floodgates for Duke’s supporting cast.

The frontcourt has quietly become one of Duke’s biggest weapons. Patrick Ngongba II and Maliq Brown are trending upward fast, giving Duke length, touch around the basket and smart decision making. Ngongba barely misses shots lately and Scheyer insists the kid is only tapping into the surface of what he can do.

Scheyer’s main focus entering this matchup is discipline on defense. With Arkansas built on physicality, Duke wants to force tough shots without sending them to the line. If Duke can control pace and stay out of foul trouble, they hold every advantage on paper.

Arkansas Razorbacks Betting Breakdown

Arkansas arrives with a very different résumé but no less intrigue. After a stumble against Michigan State and a couple of nail biters, the Razorbacks finally exploded last week, throttling Jackson State and reminding everyone how dangerous their backcourt can be.

John Calipari knows the stakes. Neutral site games like this are résumé makers, but they also expose weaknesses fast. He has challenged his roster to play tougher, rebound harder and stop assuming teams fear the Arkansas name. Calipari wants a smashmouth response, and Duke is the perfect opponent to test that mindset.

Freshman Meleek Thomas leads the Razorbacks in scoring with smooth perimeter craft, while Darius Acuff Jr. adds another aggressive weapon in the backcourt. Together they form one of the most entertaining young guard duos in college basketball.

Arkansas has the size and athleticism to bother Duke if they can control tempo and make this a rugged, physical game. But if they let the Blue Devils dictate pace and spacing, it becomes a long night fast.

Expert Final Score Prediction

Duke has played the tougher schedule, has the deeper roster and is simply more polished. Arkansas has fight, but the matchup tilts toward the sharper, more complete team.

Final Score:  Duke 85, Arkansas 73
Lean:  Duke -10.0

Over 156.5
