On Friday, the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers take the court for a Western Conference showdown. With 11 wins in their last 13 games, the Nuggets come into their matchup with the Clippers as favorites after having gone 2-5 against the spread in their past seven away games. The Nuggets have been on fire for a while now and they certainly look good in their blow out went over the short handed Suns on Wednesday while the Clippers were on a six game skid before they took down the mavericks and their last outing. The game should be an exciting one, with both teams playing at peak form and headed towards potential playoff appearances.
While Denver has had momentum behind them of late and been successful against the Clippers when they’ve met previously this season, all it takes is one game to swing a series either way and anything can happen on Friday night. The nuggets are still missing Jeff Green while Nikola jokic is currently listed as day to day while the Clippers will again be missing Paul George and Luke Kennard, this will be the third matchup between these two with Denver taking both straight up and against the spread. That being said, I’m taking the Denver Nuggets at +2.5 my pick for tonight’s game.

Game Preview
Kawhi Leonard is displaying signs that he has regained his All-Star form and has put his serious knee injury behind him.
Leonard looks for his third straight strong performance and also aims to score 24 or more points for the eighth time in 12 appearances when the Los Angeles Clippers host the soaring Denver Nuggets on Friday night.
Leonard tore the ACL in his right knee in June 2021 and missed all of last season. He missed more time earlier this season due to flare-ups in the knee but has recently felt healthier and his performance is showing that.
