Toronto Raptors Betting Preview

Toronto arrives in Orlando still owning one of the league’s most impressive road résumés. The Raptors lead the Eastern Conference with 16 road wins, and that comfort away from home has kept them firmly in the playoff mix. That said, their momentum took a hit Wednesday night when they ran out of steam in a lopsided 119-92 loss to New York.

Toronto held a four-point halftime lead in that game before completely losing control after the break, surrendering 72 second-half points. Brandon Ingram did his part, finishing with 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting, while Scottie Barnes added 17 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. The supporting cast, however, could not keep up once the Knicks turned up the tempo.

Ingram and Barnes have already shown they can hurt Orlando. In the previous meeting on Dec. 29, Ingram scored 17 points and Barnes delivered 13 points and 11 rebounds as Toronto erased a massive 21-point deficit to steal a 107-106 win. That comeback remains one of Toronto’s most impressive wins this season.

The Raptors are now one win shy of matching last season’s total, but head coach Darko Rajakovic continues to keep the focus narrow. Rookie Collin Murray-Boyles also returned to the lineup Wednesday after missing four games, contributing four points, five rebounds, and four assists as he works his way back into rhythm.

Orlando Magic Betting Preview

Orlando finally snapped a four-game losing streak with a high-energy 133-124 win over Miami, a result that may serve as a turning point. The Magic played with pace and purpose, executing many of the adjustments they had emphasized during the skid.

Paolo Banchero once again led the way, pouring in 31 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. It marked his second straight 30-point performance and his fifth such outing this season. Anthony Black stepped up in a major way as well, scoring 26 points while continuing to shoulder a larger offensive role with Franz Wagner sidelined for a fourth straight game due to a high ankle sprain.

Those two were also dominant against Toronto earlier this season. Black scored 27 points in that meeting, while Banchero nearly recorded a triple-double with 23 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists. Orlando knows it let that game slip and will be eager to avoid another late collapse.

NBA Prediction and Betting Outlook

Toronto’s road success keeps this matchup tight, but Orlando’s renewed energy and home court edge give the Magic a slight advantage. If Banchero controls the paint again, Orlando should be able to dictate the flow late.

Final Score: Magic 113, Raptors 109
Lean: Orlando -2.0
