The Nuggets, who lead the Western Conference by five games, lost their third straight game on Sunday despite 35 points, 20 rebounds and 11 assists from Nikola Jokic. Meanwhile, the Raptors are trying to get back on track after losing their last three games during a 1-4 road trip. This matchup is set to be an exciting one as both teams fight for playoff or play-in status.
Looking into the injury reports, the Denver Nuggets are questionable with Jamal Murray with a left knee injury that he suffered during Sunday night’s game versus the Nets. As for the Raptors, they are going in with a healthy lineup.
The Nuggets are 0-4 on the ATS in their last 4 games overall and the Raptors are 4-0on the ATS in their last 4 games versus a team with a winning % above .60
Although the trends are leaning towards the Raptors to cover the ATS, I can’t see the number one team in the western conference lose a fourth straight game here, especially with being the underdog with such a low spread .
That said, if Jamal Murray is a go, I’m locked in with the Denver Nuggets to cover the spread at + 1 for my free pick of the day.
