The Los Angeles Lakers will look for their fifth win in six games on Wednesday when they take on the Houston Rockets, but they’ll have to do it without the help of their superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis. With James sidelined for at least another week due to a right foot tendon injury, and Davis sitting out due to a back-to-back game set, the Lakers will need to rely on their reserves for this upcoming matchup against the Rockets.
Looking into the injury report, the Rockets are questionable with their starting center Alperen Sengun as he recovers from a left groin strain. As for the Lakers, as mentioned they are without Davis and LBJ.
AS for some trends, the Lakers have just been on fire at covering the ATS. They are 5-0 on the ATS in their last 5 road games versus a team with a losing home record, that being the Rockets who are 10-24 at home.
All-in-all, the Lakers are red hot and even though they don’t have their star players, they have a lot of depth on that bench. That said, I’m locked with the Lakers to co er the spread at -3 for my free pick of the day.
