The Philadelphia 76ers have faced a different kind of travel scenario this week as they head over to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers. This will be a special match-up for Sixers coach Doc Rivers, as it goes up against his former team.
It’s been an impressive start of the year for the 76ers, undefeated when playing on the road. On Sunday they achieved their third road victory in just this month alone against none other than the Lakers; and they were able to stay put in rainy Southern California afterwards.
The Clippers experienced a much needed success when they overcame Houston’s Rockets 121-100 this past Sunday, scoring only their second win in nine games. Though Paul George was out due to a hamstring injury, Terance Mann performed an amazing career-high 31 points for Los Angeles that night. Who will come out victorious after Tuesday’s game?
Well lets take a look at the injury report for this matchup. The Sixer’s James Harden is considered questionable with a heel pain but is expected to play. As for the clippers, they are without Luke Kennard, John Wall and Marcus Morris. Paul George is clear to play Tuesday, though he is still considered questionable with a right hamstring soreness. With all that said, we have a good feeling that the Sixers will win this game considering their undefeated hot streak on the road and of course with Doc Rivers facing his former team.
