The 2026 Sanford International returns to Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls, with 54-hole competition running September 11–13. Defending champion Retief Goosen returns after winning the 2025 title at 13-under par, while four-time champion Steve Stricker brings serious course history.

Zach Johnson arrives with four wins this season and second place in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. Fred Couples, John Daly, Ernie Els, Darren Clarke, K.J. Choi and Michael Block add depth to the field. Stricker’s familiarity makes him a natural outright betting consideration, but Johnson’s current form demands attention. Goosen also deserves respect as the defending champion.
