Indiana Pacers Outlook & Betting Edge
The Pacers looked poised to put a stranglehold on the series after building a 20-point lead in Game 3, but then it all unraveled. Indiana was outscored 36-20 in the fourth quarter, squandering a golden opportunity to go up 3-0. Now, Game 4 becomes a pivotal moment as the series hangs in the balance at 2-1.
Tyrese Haliburton took responsibility for the second-half collapse, admitting he didn’t create enough offense or manage the game late. He’s still been effective in the series, averaging 21.7 points and 9.7 assists, but the Pacers need better execution in crunch time. The Knicks pulled off yet another stunning rally, overcoming a 20-point road deficit for the third time this postseason. Their Game 3 comeback mirrored earlier wins in Boston and showed just how resilient this team is under Tom Thibodeau.
Jalen Brunson continues to lead the charge, averaging 34 points in the series despite scoring only 23 in Game 3. Karl-Anthony Towns exploded in the fourth quarter with 20 of his 24 points, helping flip the game late. Even with both Towns and Josh Hart dealing with knee issues, both are expected to suit up in Game 4.
New York’s toughness and experience in late-game situations make them dangerous regardless of the scoreboard. The concern, however, is whether they can avoid these deep holes before mounting another comeback.
