Los Angeles Dodgers Betting Outlook

The Dodgers return home with all the momentum after two dominant pitching performances in Milwaukee. Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto combined to suffocate the Brewers lineup, allowing just one run across 17 innings as Los Angeles rolled to a 2-0 series lead. Now the defending champs are just two wins from another National League pennant and six victories away from back-to-back World Series titles.

Tyler Glasnow takes the mound for Game 3, and the local product has been lights out this postseason. He tossed six scoreless innings against the Phillies in the NLDS clincher, showing the kind of command and poise that has made him a playoff weapon. Manager Dave Roberts expressed confidence in the rotation’s rhythm, even naming Shohei Ohtani as the Game 4 starter, a move that should keep the Brewers guessing.

Offensively, the Dodgers have been winning despite their biggest stars still waiting to heat up. The trio of Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman is hitting just .167 in the series, but Teoscar Hernández and Max Muncy have stepped up in their place. Muncy, who broke the franchise record for career postseason home runs with his 14th in Game 2, said the team still has “another gear.” That’s bad news for a Milwaukee pitching staff that’s already stretched thin.

Expect the Dodgers to lean on Glasnow early and try to build another lead through situational hitting rather than relying solely on the long ball.

Milwaukee Brewers Betting Outlook

The Brewers are in survival mode, trailing 2-0 and looking overmatched on both sides of the ball. They’ve managed only five hits through the first two games, striking out 18 times and going 0-for-1 with runners in scoring position, yes, just one opportunity in 18 innings. Rookie Jackson Chourio provided a brief spark with a leadoff homer in Game 2, but the offense went silent right after.

Manager Pat Murphy hasn’t announced a traditional starter for Game 3, calling it an “all-hands-on-deck” effort. Milwaukee’s bullpen has been solid, allowing minimal damage despite constant pressure, but without run support, it hasn’t mattered. Christian Yelich, who has yet to record a hit in the series, admitted the team has to “find a way to battle” to avoid going down 3-0.

Historically, the Brewers actually had success against the Dodgers in the regular season, going 6-0, including two wins against Glasnow. But those games feel like ancient history now. The difference between summer baseball and October baseball has been glaring and Milwaukee’s offense looks stuck in reverse.

Prediction & Betting Angle

Everything about this matchup points toward another Dodger victory. Their rotation has been near perfect, and they’re returning home with momentum and confidence. Milwaukee’s offense looks completely lost, and relying on a bullpen carousel won’t fix that. Expect Los Angeles to take control early, keep the pressure on, and move within one win of another NL crown.

Score Prediction: Dodgers 5, Brewers 2
Pick: LA Dodgers -1.5 (+100)
Total: Under 7.5 (+100)
