Orlando Magic Betting Preview

Orlando rolls into San Antonio riding a confidence boost after flipping the script on Toronto in a wild comeback win. The Magic erased a 14 point hole and turned the fourth quarter into a track meet, outscoring the Raptors 44-21 to seal a 130-120 victory. That win capped a two-game streak and felt like a season reset after a rough stretch.

Desmond Bane was the closer, pouring in 16 of his 32 points in the final period while knocking down seven triples. Anthony Black lived at the line and did not miss, finishing with 25 points on 14 made free throws. Wendell Carter Jr. chipped in 23, Paolo Banchero added 20, and Jalen Suggs filled the box score with 14 points and 10 assists.

The Magic are playing with more purpose after a midseason slump that included an overseas loss in London. Ball movement has improved, transition defense has tightened, and the offense is attacking in waves. That said, Orlando still struggles with consistency, especially on the road. Big scoring nights are often followed by defensive lapses, and maintaining that late-game energy on tired legs will be the challenge here.

San Antonio Spurs Betting Preview

San Antonio returns home for the second leg of a back to back after a frustrating 111-106 loss in Charlotte. Travel issues and early tip time did the Spurs no favors, and it showed early as they trailed by as many as 20 points. Still, the fight was there late, cutting the deficit to two before running out of time.

Rookie Dylan Harper led the charge off the bench with 20 points, while Stephon Castle and Victor Wembanyama each finished with 16. Devin Vassell and Julian Champagnie added 13 apiece, and De’Aaron Fox and Harrison Barnes contributed 11 each. Barnes came off the bench for the first time in a Spurs uniform, ending a long starting streak as the team reshuffled lineups to get Vassell back into rhythm.

The Spurs have been streaky, alternating wins and losses over their last five games, but home court has generally brought better focus and energy. They also won the first meeting with Orlando 114-112, showing they can handle the Magic’s pace when execution is sharp.

NBA Prediction and Betting Outlook

Orlando’s momentum is real, but this spot favors San Antonio. The Spurs are back home, motivated after a sluggish road loss, and have matchup familiarity on their side. Orlando’s offense can keep things interesting, but defensive gaps should allow San Antonio to pull away late.
