Ole Miss Rebels 2026 Season Betting Preview
Ole Miss enters the 2026 season with College Football Playoff expectations after a remarkable 13-2 campaign. Now under first-year head coach Pete Golding, the Rebels remain one of the SEC’s most intriguing betting teams despite the coaching transition. New offensive coordinator John David Baker inherits an explosive offense led by veteran quarterback Trinidad Chambliss and star running back Kewan Lacy, who rushed for more than 1,500 yards and 24 touchdowns last season.
The passing attack has been retooled with transfer additions and elite freshman Caleb Cunningham, while veterans Brycen Sanders, Delano Townsend and Patrick Kutas anchor an experienced offensive line. Ole Miss won’t have an easy road, however, facing one of the nation’s toughest schedules, including an opening showdown with Louisville and an early SEC clash against LSU. If the Rebels navigate that gauntlet, they’ll remain a serious contender in both the SEC and College Football Playoff race.

Favorite bets on the Ole Miss Rebels
Ole Miss is our pick to finish under 7.5 regular-season wins in 2026. The Rebels have plenty of talent, but replacing Lane Kiffin while navigating one of the nation’s toughest schedules is a difficult assignment. Road trips to Texas, Florida and Oklahoma, plus home battles against Georgia and LSU, leave little room for error. Pete Golding’s first season as head coach should be competitive, but seven wins looks like the more realistic betting outcome.
The Prediction: Under 7.5 Wins (+135)
