Cleveland Cavaliers: Cruising With Control

Cleveland is up 2-0 and honestly, it hasn’t even felt stressful. That’s a problem if you’re Toronto.

Donovan Mitchell is doing what he does. Dropping 30 like it’s a casual Tuesday. But the real cheat code here is James Harden. The guy shows up, puts up 28, runs the offense, and basically lets everyone else save energy. Imagine having to guard that. Yeah, good luck.

And then you’ve got Evan Mobley casually adding 25 because why not. It’s not just star power, it’s depth, spacing, and a defense that clearly watched the Raptors game plan and said “we’ll take those turnovers, thanks.”

Also, shoutout to Dean Wade, who has scored basically nothing but is out there ruining Brandon Ingram’s life. Defense wins championships… and apparently also ruins stat sheets.

Toronto Raptors: Turnover Machine Mode

Toronto right now is basically running a charity program. It’s called “free points off turnovers,” and Cleveland is the main beneficiary.

40 turnovers in two games. Forty. That’s not playoff basketball, that’s a giveaway promotion.

Scottie Barnes tried to keep things respectable with 26 points, and RJ Barrett added 22, but it’s not enough when your offense keeps handing the ball back.

And then there’s Ingram. Seven points in Game 2 on 3-for-15 shooting. That’s not a slump, that’s a disappearance. If he doesn’t wake up, this series might be over before it gets interesting.

Jakob Poeltl also gave you two points in under ten minutes, which is impressive… in a “how is that even possible” kind of way.

Good news? They’re at home. Bad news? Cleveland has won 12 straight playoff games against them. So yeah, history is not exactly rooting for a comeback.

LVSB NBA Playoffs Prediction

Cleveland -3.0 feels like the sportsbook saying “we’re being nice.” Based on what we’ve seen, this could easily be more.

Toronto at home should bring energy. They might even cut down the turnovers from 40 to, say, 25. Big improvement.

Total at 221.5 depends on one thing. Do the Raptors stop gifting possessions? If yes, this gets competitive. If not, Cleveland just keeps cashing in.

Right now, Cleveland looks like the team that knows exactly what it’s doing. Toronto looks like it’s still reading the instructions.
