Oklahoma City Thunder: Unstoppable Scoring Machine
Oklahoma City strolls into Game 4 as an 11-point favorite, which is basically Vegas politely saying, “This might get ugly again.”
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is currently playing basketball on a different difficulty setting. The man dropped 42 points on 15-of-18 shooting like he was in an open gym. Add in 11-of-12 from the line and you’ve got a performance that screams “please double me”… and it still doesn’t matter.
He’s averaging 34.7 points and 8.0 assists in the series, which means every possession is basically a choose-your-own-adventure where the ending is always “Thunder score.”
Alex Caruso summed it up perfectly. At this point, they expect greatness every night. That’s not confidence, that’s just reality.
Even without Jalen Williams, this team looks like a well-oiled machine. They defend, they execute, and most importantly, they don’t panic. It’s like watching a team that already knows the ending of the movie.
Phoenix Suns: Desperate Survival Mode
Phoenix is down 3-0 and trying to avoid getting swept again, which is not exactly the motivational speech you want heading into Game 4.
Dillon Brooks is doing everything he can, dropping 33 points and carrying the offense like it’s a personal mission. Over the last two games, he’s put up 63 points. Unfortunately, basketball is a team sport, and the rest of the help has been… inconsistent at best.
Devin Booker is clearly not at full strength. He finished Game 3 with 16 points and seven assists, but the ankle issue is limiting him. And when your best scorer isn’t 100%, facing a team like Oklahoma City becomes a nightmare.
Grayson Allen is back, technically. Physically? That’s still up for debate. Seven points on 2-of-8 shooting is not exactly the heroic return they were hoping for.
Meanwhile, the Suns tried everything defensively on Shai. Different matchups, pressure, probably even a polite request to stop scoring. None of it worked.
At this point, Phoenix needs a miracle. Or three.
LVSB NBA Playoffs Prediction
Thunder -11.0 looks big, but then you watch the games and think… maybe it’s not big enough.
Oklahoma City is playing like a championship team that’s bored and just wants to finish the job quickly. Phoenix is playing like a team trying to figure out how to stop a superstar who refuses to be stopped.
The total at 213.0 feels reasonable, but if OKC keeps scoring at will, they might cover that themselves by the fourth quarter.
This has sweep energy written all over it.
