Prior to his most recent outing against Pittsburgh, Arrighetti had consistently worked at least five innings while allowing two or fewer earned runs in every start. Although his elite ERA has turned heads, there are still areas of concern beneath the surface. His walk rate remains elevated, averaging nearly five walks per nine innings, and he has issued four or more walks in over half of his starts.
