Thunder vs. Grizzlies Game 4 Betting Preview, Prediction & Breakdown
Spread: Oklahoma City -15.0 | Total: 223.0
Oklahoma City Thunder Outlook
The Thunder head into Game 4 on the verge of a sweep after pulling off a jaw-dropping comeback in Game 3. Oklahoma City erased a 29-point first-half deficit, storming back to grab a 114-108 win and a commanding 3-0 series lead. Now as heavy 15-point favorites, they have a chance to close it out emphatically.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continues to show why he’s an MVP contender, dropping 31 points while Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren lit up the second half. Holmgren, in particular, was massive—scoring 23 of his 24 points after halftime, including a barrage of threes that crushed Memphis’ momentum.
The Thunder’s mentality is rock-solid. Even down huge, they stayed poised and trusted their system—an approach that’s fueled their 68-win regular season. With no signs of slowing down and momentum heavily in their favor, Oklahoma City is well-positioned to not just win, but cover the massive spread and move on to Round 2.
Memphis Grizzlies Outlook
Memphis came out swinging in Game 3, building a near-30-point lead and finally showing some fight after two blowout losses. Scotty Pippen Jr. led the early charge with 28 points, but the second half was a disaster. After Ja Morant’s exit with a hip injury, the Grizzlies’ offense completely collapsed—scoring just 31 points in the second half and going scoreless in the final five minutes.
Morant is doubtful for Game 4, and without him, Memphis simply doesn’t have the firepower to keep pace. Their bench has struggled, and they’ve failed to close games all series long. Even if Luke Kennard (questionable) plays, it’s hard to see Memphis mounting enough of a threat to stay competitive here.
The Grizzlies’ best hope is a desperate start fueled by pride, but history and momentum say otherwise. With the Thunder locked in, Memphis looks headed for an early playoff exit.
Prediction
Oklahoma City has proven they can dominate in multiple ways—either with wire-to-wire control or comeback heroics. With Morant likely out and the Grizzlies’ confidence shattered, the Thunder should cruise to a blowout win.
Pick: Thunder -15.0
Prediction: Oklahoma City 119, Memphis 99
Lean: Under 223.0 – If Memphis struggles to score again, this could fall well below the total.
