After the Denver Nuggets experienced a rare three-game skid in early December, they lit a fire that led to 19 victories in 22 games. Their latest challenge for a rebound comes Tuesday when the New Orleans Pelicans visit. Despite their strong run since early December, recent hiccups have come back to haunt the Nuggets as they dropped a 107-99 game against Milwaukee on Wednesday and lost 126-119 to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday; four of their five starters were out during Wednesday’s game. The Pelicans are struggling through their own losing streak and trying to keep things in perspective.
The Pelicans will be once again without Zion Williamson for tonight’s game. As for the Nuggets Jamal Murray, he is questionable for Tuesday night.
As for some trends, the Pelicans are 2-9 against the spread in their last 11 games versus a team with a winning straight up record and the Nuggets are 6-1 against the spread in their last 7 games following a ATS loss.
