San Antonio Spurs: Alien Takes Over

So San Antonio is laying 11.5 like they just invented basketball. And honestly… after Game 1, you kind of get it.

Victor Wembanyama showed up to his playoff debut like it was a casual Tuesday run at the park. 35 points, broke Tim Duncan’s franchise record, dropped 21 in the first half, then decided scoring in the third quarter was optional. Must be nice.

But here’s the funny part. He goes quiet, and the Spurs somehow get better. Devin Vassell turns into a two-way menace, De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle casually add 17 each, and suddenly a close game turns into a “why did I bet against this team” situation.

Depth, defense, and a 7-foot alien. Good luck with that.

Portland Trail Blazers: Brick City Offense

Portland didn’t play terrible… they just played like a team trying to solve a math equation without a calculator.

Deni Avdija did his job. 30 points and 10 rebounds. Solid. Respect. But then the rest of the team decided the three-point line was lava.

26.3 percent from deep. That’s not shooting, that’s community service.

Scoot Henderson added 18, Jrue Holiday handed out 11 assists, and still nothing clicked. When you go 1 for 11 from three between key guys, you’re basically handing the Spurs a thank-you card.

And now they’ve met Wembanyama. Surprise.

LVSB NBA Playoffs Prediction

San Antonio at -11.5 feels big… until you remember they just flipped a two-point game into a blowout while their best player took a break.

That’s not scary at all.

Portland needs to shoot better. Revolutionary concept. If they don’t, this turns into another episode of “How Fast Can This Get Ugly.”

Total at 220.5 is interesting. If Portland remembers how to shoot, this could sneak over. If not, we’re watching bricks with a soundtrack.

Final Score: Spurs 119, Trail Blazers 104
Lean: San Antonio -11.5
Total:
Over 220.5
