The Toronto Raptors will look to improve their play-in tournament seeding Friday night when they take on the Boston Celtics for the final game of their two game set. With the Celtics having clinched the second seed in the Eastern Conference by winning Wednesday’s match 97 to 93, the Raptors currently occupy ninth place and must win both remaining games to better their position in the play-in tournament.
Looking into the injury report, the Celtics are banged up but Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are good to go tonight. Though, they are questionable with Derrick White, Malcolm Brogdon, Payton Pritchard and Marcus Smart.
As for some trends, the Celtics have been lights out on the ATS. One that stood out is that Boston is 4 and 1 on the ATS in their last 5 home games versus a team with a losing road record and the Raptors are horrible on the road at 14 and 26.
That said, I’m confident in taking the Boston Celtics to cover the spread at -2.5 for my free pick of the day.
