Dodgers Look to Roast the A’s—Freeman’s Bat and Ohtani’s Swat to Lead the Way!

Moneyline: Dodgers (-210)
Total: 9.0

The Los Angeles Dodgers are back at it, and this time, they’ve got the Athletics coming to town. If the A’s were hoping for a warm California welcome, they might want to rethink that after Freddie Freeman went full “video game mode” with four hits on Sunday. I swear, the man could probably hit a curveball with a pool noodle right now.

Sitting comfortably at 27-14 overall and rocking a near-impenetrable 15-3 record at home, the Dodgers have been launching baseballs into orbit like they’re practicing for a NASA mission. With a league-leading 64 homers, they’re averaging 1.6 per game basically, every time you blink, a baseball is landing in the bleachers.

Meanwhile, the A’s have managed to stay afloat at 21-20, with a pretty respectable 13-7 road record. But let’s be real they’re coming into Dodger Stadium like a kid showing up at a blackjack table with $5: optimistic, but probably doomed. They’ve got 51 homers themselves, which is cute… until you remember who they’re playing against.

Pitching Matchup: The “Who Will Flinch First” Game

On the mound for the Athletics, it’s Jeffrey Springs. He’s 4-3 with a 4.81 ERA, and he’s walking a tightrope every game with a WHIP of 1.42. Basically, he’s like that guy juggling flaming swords you appreciate the effort, but you know it’s gonna go bad at some point.

For the Dodgers, it’s Landon Knack, who’s apparently decided to try out for the “Most Stressful Wins” award with a 4.61 ERA and a WHIP of 1.46. If you’re into edge-of-your-seat, “will he or won’t he implode?” pitching, this game is your Super Bowl.

Top Performers:

Freddie Freeman is out here like he’s playing on Rookie Mode 19 for his last 40 with four homers and 16 RBIs. Ohtani is casually mashing 12 homers while slugging .641 because… well, he’s Ohtani.

The A’s? They’ve got Brent Rooker with 10 homers, which is impressive. But when you’re going up against the Dodgers at home, it’s like bringing a water pistol to a wildfire.

Prediction:

The Dodgers are set to light up Springs and the Athletics like it’s the Fourth of July, cruising to a 7-3 victory. It’s Hollywood, baby big hits, big runs, and probably some guy in the outfield catching a home run with a bucket of nachos. Bet on it.

Final Score Prediction: Dodgers 7, Giants 3
Moneyline:
 LA Dodger Runline -1.5 (+100)
Total: Over 9.0 (-110)
