Golden State Warriors Betting Preview

Golden State continues to navigate life without Stephen Curry, and the recent results show it. The Warriors have dropped eight of their last 12 and are riding a two-game skid after a 121-110 loss to Boston. The debut of Kristaps Porzingis offered a glimpse of upside, though. He posted 12 points in 17 minutes, hitting 3 of 4 shots in a late fourth-quarter push and showing his floor spacing and rim protection.

Still, Curry remains sidelined with a knee issue and Jimmy Butler III is out with a torn ACL. That is a massive scoring and playmaking void. The Warriors split earlier meetings with Denver, but Curry’s 42-point explosion was the difference in their October overtime win. Without him, offensive consistency is a concern, especially in a game lined near 230.

Denver Nuggets Betting Preview

Denver enters laying six after detonating for 157 points in a 54-point demolition of Portland. Nikola Jokic looks fully back after missing most of January, playing nine straight games and delivering four consecutive triple-doubles during that stretch. Even in his last two outings, where assists dipped to six and seven, his overall impact remains elite.

The Nuggets are missing Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson, but Jokic’s presence stabilizes everything. Denver has alternated wins and losses recently, yet when the tempo is dictated by Jokic, the offense becomes nearly impossible to contain.

NBA Prediction and Betting Outlook

Golden State is still adjusting rotations and lacks its primary engine. Denver has the best player on the floor and momentum after a statement win. With the spread at six and the total at 229.5, the matchup leans toward the road favorite controlling pace and exploiting mismatches inside.

Final Score: Nuggets 122, Warriors 109
