Colorado vs Los Angeles NHL Preview & Pick
Moneyline: Colorado -170
Spread: Colorado -1.5 (+163)
Total: 5.5
Colorado Avalanche: Quietly Dominating Hockey
Colorado is up 2-0, and somehow it still feels like they’re barely trying. That’s terrifying if you’re Los Angeles.
Nathan MacKinnon and company haven’t even hit full offensive mode yet, and they’re still winning low-scoring games like it’s their new personality. This team led the league in scoring during the season, and now they’ve decided, “Nah, let’s just win 2-1 for fun.”
And then there’s Scott Wedgewood, who apparently woke up and chose “elite playoff goalie” after having zero postseason starts in his life. He’s stopped 48 of 50 shots and robbed Quinton Byfield on a penalty shot like he’s been doing this for a decade.
Also, Gabe Landeskog casually scoring late to tie games because that’s what captains do when they feel like ruining your night.
Bottom line, Colorado is winning ugly… and that should scare everyone.
Los Angeles Kings: Close But Losing
Los Angeles is doing everything right… except the part where you actually win the game.
Both losses were 2-1. One in regulation heartbreak, one in overtime heartbreak. At this point, they’re basically collecting “almost” trophies.
Artemi Panarin is carrying the offense like it’s a one-man show, scoring in both games. Meanwhile, everyone else is out there politely watching him do all the work.
Anton Forsberg has been solid in net, keeping them alive, but eventually you need goals. Revolutionary concept, I know.
And don’t forget that penalty shot miss by Byfield. That moment is going to haunt them like a bad bet you swore was a lock.
The Kings are playing tough, physical, disciplined hockey. Problem is, Colorado is doing the same thing… just better when it matters.
LVSB NHL Playoffs Prediction
Colorado at -170 is basically the sportsbook saying, “Yeah, we’ve seen enough.”
Kings at home should bring energy, maybe even score a second goal. Big night.
Spread at -1.5 for Colorado at +163 is tempting because if the Kings start pressing late, empty net city is wide open.
Total at 5.5 screams under… until one weird bounce, one bad turnover, or one panic moment turns it into chaos. Which, let’s be honest, is always possible.
Score Prediction: Avalanche 3, Kings 1
Pick: Colorado -1.5 (+163)
Total: Under 5.5 (-110)
