Denver has won seven straight preseason games while averaging 32.1 points and scoring at least 27 in every one. Bo Nix won’t play on Atlanta’s turf, leaving Jarrett Stidham to run the show.
Once the starters disappear after roughly 10-15 plays, Denver’s depth becomes the attraction. Jonah Coleman, Lil’Jordan Humphrey and two-time UFL Offensive Player of the Year Hakeem Butler give Stidham plenty to work with.
Atlanta: Tua’s Audition Begins
Tua Tagovailoa gets his first opportunity to convince Kevin Stefanski that Atlanta’s quarterback competition should actually be a competition.
Michael Penix Jr. remains sidelined while recovering from the torn ACL he suffered during the 2025 season, making Tua’s preseason snaps considerably more meaningful than your average August cameo.
After Tagovailoa exits, Atlanta still has experienced quarterback depth plus weapons including Zachariah Branch and Charlie Woerner. Then there’s 6-foot-5 Strand, who threw 42 touchdowns last season at Minnesota State-Moorhead.
Because nothing screams NFL betting confidence like eventually handing your money to a Division II quarterback.
