Tennessee vs San Francisco Preview & Prediction
Spread: Tennessee -6.0
Moneyline: Tennessee (-245)
Total: 40.0
Tennessee: Saleh Knows the Wi-Fi Password
Robert Saleh opens his Titans tenure against the franchise where he served as defensive coordinator last season. If anybody knows where San Francisco hides the preseason skeletons, it’s probably him.
Tennessee enters as a 6-point favorite, and this game matters considerably for Will Levis. He’s entering the final year of his contract and is no longer the Titans’ starting quarterback. Translation: every preseason snap now doubles as an NFL job interview.
Levis still has enough talent to carve out a future in the league, but ugly August football won’t exactly improve his LinkedIn profile.
San Francisco: Pass Rush Still Annoying
The 49ers already gave Tennessee problems during joint work, particularly with their pass rush.
Even without Nick Bosa, San Francisco’s edge depth created disruption. Alfred Collins recorded a sack, while multiple 49ers rushers consistently generated pressure.
Osa Odighizuwa making plays isn’t surprising. That’s what he’s supposed to do. The bigger development is San Francisco getting production from its depth players after that area caused problems over the previous two seasons.
LVSB Betting Prediction
Tennessee laying 6 points is a chunky preseason spread, but the Titans have motivation and quarterback evaluation working in their favor. Saleh’s familiarity with Kyle Shanahan’s system doesn’t hurt either.
The total is 40.0, and preseason football plus backup quarterbacks usually isn’t our invitation to an offensive festival.
We’ll back Tennessee to control the game once the depth charts start emptying.
Saleh gets his reunion, Levis gets his audition, and preseason bettors once again pretend fourth-quarter third-string football is perfectly normal entertainment.
Final Score: Titans 23, 49ers 13
