Las Vegas: A’ja Doing Everything
The Aces are 24-12, already playoff-bound and laying 3.0 points at home. They’re also coming off a 92-87 loss to Minnesota, where A’ja Wilson apparently tried playing the Lynx by herself.
Wilson dropped 32 points on 10-of-15 shooting with seven rebounds, marking her 11th 30-point performance this season. She now leads the WNBA at 26.1 points per game and passed Candace Parker for 11th on the league’s all-time scoring list.
The problem? NaLyssa Smith was the only other Las Vegas starter to shoot better than 33%.
Turns out basketball remains inconveniently designed for five players.
Atlanta: Somebody Find the Paint
Atlanta enters 21-13 after a painful 95-91 overtime loss to Indiana.
Allisha Gray exploded for 32 points, while Angel Reese delivered 15 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. Reese leads the entire WNBA with 12.1 rebounds per game, so the Dream certainly aren’t lacking muscle.
Unfortunately, Atlanta shot just 35.4% from the field, committed 15 turnovers and got outscored 48-36 in the paint.
That’s not exactly the recipe you frame and hang in the kitchen.
LVSB Betting Prediction
Both teams are coming off losses, but Las Vegas gets the friendlier bounce-back setup at home.
Wilson remains an offensive cheat code, and we’re expecting better support from the Aces after their starters struggled against Minnesota. Atlanta’s rebounding can keep this competitive, but its inefficient shooting and turnover problems are dangerous against the defending champions.
Las Vegas laying only 3.0 feels playable.
The total is 178.0, and that’s a serious number. Atlanta just needed overtime to reach 91, while Las Vegas needs more offensive production outside Wilson.
