Golden State enters at 24-9 riding a five-game winning streak and apparently treating Dallas like a recurring appointment.
The Valkyries have already beaten the Wings twice, 91-80 and 94-76. They’ve dominated from downtown 72-48 and absolutely mugged Dallas in bench scoring, 73-41.
Janelle Salaun scored 21 bench points across those meetings, while Tiffany Hayes added 19. Hayes has also scored at least nine points off the bench in six straight games.
Golden State’s latest victim was Chicago, which got flattened 91-71. Nothing subtle happening here.
Dallas: The Injury Waiting Room
Dallas sits 20-15 but has dropped six of eight, which isn’t exactly how you want to approach a team that’s beaten you twice by double digits.
The Wings are also hurting. Azzi Fudd has missed four straight games with a knee strain and isn’t expected back Monday, while Jessica Shepard has missed two games with an ankle issue and remains questionable.
That leaves Paige Bueckers trying to help drag Dallas out of its slump while the Wings cling to the eighth and final playoff spot.
Good news: They’re still in playoff position.
Bad news: Golden State apparently didn’t receive the sympathy memo.

The Valkyries are laying 6.0 at home, and we’re not interested in getting cute.
Golden State has the superior form, deeper rotation and a 2-0 season-series advantage with both victories coming by double digits. Dallas’ injuries only strengthen the case.
The total sits at 162.0. Their previous meetings produced 171 and 170 points, but Golden State just held Chicago to 71. Dallas’ depleted lineup could make reaching another shootout difficult.
