Indiana enters Atlanta at 22-12 riding three straight wins and victories in 10 of its last 13 games. Translation: the Fever picked a pretty convenient time to stop messing around.
Caitlin Clark is driving the bus, conducting the orchestra and probably checking tickets at this point. She dropped 29 points and 10 assists in Friday’s 98-87 win over Dallas.
Indiana trailed by three entering the fourth quarter before detonating for a 35-21 advantage. Apparently, the first three quarters were just the Fever downloading the instructions.
Atlanta: Dreaming Big at Home
Atlanta sits right behind Indiana at 21-12 after winning three of four, with every victory coming by double digits.
The Dream absolutely dismantled Connecticut 104-69 on Thursday, holding the Sun to 30% shooting. Rhyne Howard poured in 29 points, while Naz Hillmon believes Atlanta is finally finding another gear.
That’s convenient because Sunday’s winner could leave with fourth place.
Atlanta also owns the season-series advantage, winning two of three against Indiana. The Dream scored 108 and 113 points in those victories, including a 113-96 home win.
So yes, somebody might want to guard somebody this time.

Atlanta is laying only 2.0 at home, and there’s plenty to like about the Dream. They’ve already beaten Indiana twice, they’re coming off a 35-point demolition, and their defense just produced its best opponent shooting performance of the season.
But Indiana arrives scorching hot, and Clark is playing like someone discovered the difficulty slider.
The total of 187.5 is enormous, but these teams combined for 209 and 209 points in Atlanta’s two victories this season. Neither offense appears interested in slowing down.
