College basketball betting allows half-game wagers. These "totals" or "over/under" bets apply only to the first half of the game.
A college basketball first-half line might look like this:
First Half: Over 55 (-110) Under 55 (-110)
You can wager on whether both teams' first-half scores will be over or under 55 points. The underdog is (+) and the favoured is (-). Both the over and under are priced at -110, so you would have to bet $110 to win $100.
Quarter-by-quarter betting is possible. A first-quarter line would look like this:
First Quarter: Over 13 (-110) Under 13 (-110)
You can wager on whether both teams' first-quarter scores will be over or under 13 points.
