Instead, Bryan Hudson (4-4, 3.03 ERA) gets the opener assignment. The left-hander has 55 strikeouts in 59 1/3 innings over 61 appearances.
Hudson has also handled Minnesota extremely well, posting a 1.23 ERA across seven career outings. This season alone, he has thrown five scoreless innings against the Twins and converted both save opportunities.
