Golden Knights vs. Wild Game 4 Betting Breakdown & Prediction

Moneyline: Vegas -150 | Total: 5.5

Vegas Golden Knights Outlook

The Golden Knights entered the playoffs with major expectations after securing another Pacific Division crown and the second-best record in the West. But now they find themselves with their backs against the wall, trailing 2-1 in the series after consecutive 5-2 defeats. Vegas desperately needs to turn the tide in Game 4 to even the series and reclaim home-ice advantage.

Despite the recent setbacks, there’s no panic in the locker room. William Karlsson and Ivan Barbashev have stressed the “one game at a time” mentality, and Vegas knows it has the firepower and home-ice edge if they can steal Game 4. However, the top line featuring Jack Eichel and Mark Stone has been invisible so far, combining for zero points and a minus-5 rating. They simply have to show up if Vegas is going to justify being a -150 favorite.

The Knights have been strong on the road all season, and with their playoff experience, expect them to push hard to avoid falling into a brutal 3-1 hole.

Minnesota Wild Outlook

Minnesota has taken control of the series behind outstanding efforts from Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy, who have racked up a combined eight goals and 13 points. Boldy has been especially lethal, attacking the dirty areas and capitalizing on Vegas mistakes. Meanwhile, the Wild’s defense, led by Joel Eriksson Ek’s relentless two-way play, has stifled Vegas’ top scorers.

Goaltender Filip Gustavsson has also been a difference-maker, coming up with clutch saves in critical moments, including a massive stop on Mark Stone late in Game 3. Minnesota’s physicality and commitment to team defense have set the tone, and their confidence is building.

Still, the Wild aren’t taking anything for granted. Captain Jared Spurgeon emphasized staying even-keeled and treating Game 4 as another fresh challenge. Minnesota knows they’ll need another complete effort to hold off a desperate Vegas team.

Betting Prediction

Vegas has too much pride and firepower to roll over here. Expect a tighter, more desperate effort from the Golden Knights. If their top stars finally break through, they’ll even the series heading back to Vegas.

Pick: Golden Knights ML (-150)
Prediction: Vegas 3, Minnesota 2
Lean: Under 5.5 (+100) – With so much at stake, look for a playoff-style grind where every goal is earned.
