Corbin Carroll has found his form just when the Arizona Diamondbacks needed it most, much to the dismay of the New York Mets.
Carroll launched three home runs in the first two games of their series, including a pivotal eighth-inning grand slam on Wednesday, propelling Arizona to an 8-5 win. Now, Carroll has tallied 15 home runs since July 7, with the grand slam off Mets closer Edwin Diaz being particularly crucial.
