Wings Keep Finding Ways
Dallas improved to 16-8 after overcoming a 10-point third-quarter deficit to beat Chicago 96-91. Paige Bueckers controlled the game with 22 points and 11 assists, while Jessica Shepard posted 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Arike Ogunbowale added 17 points, Azzi Fudd scored 16 and Li Yueru delivered 10 points and 10 rebounds. Three double-doubles in one game is impressive. Most teams are thrilled when three players simply remember the defensive assignment.
Bueckers has been outstanding during the streak, averaging 23.6 points, 7.4 assists and 5.8 rebounds while Dallas went 5-0. The Wings are not always polished, but they are confident, deep and currently allergic to losing.
Liberty Searching for Answers
New York enters at 13-11 after losing five of its last six games and seven of its past 10. The Liberty nearly erased a 16-point fourth-quarter deficit against Toronto before falling 93-91.
Sabrina Ionescu scored 28 points, Breanna Stewart added 22 and Pauline Astier finished with 14. Jonquel Jones recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds, but another slow start proved costly.
New York has trailed by at least 13 points in five of its last seven games and lost every one. Apparently, repeatedly digging enormous holes is not an elite championship strategy.

Dallas owns the momentum, the season-series advantage and the more reliable supporting cast. New York still has enough scoring talent to keep this competitive, but the Wings should pull away late and cover the short spread.
