Former Big East rivals reunite for the second game of the final four as Miami and Uconn square off on Saturday night. Both teams have been surprising throughout the tournament. Uconn has dominated every single opponent they faced including third seed Gonzaga which they blew out by 28 points. However, now they are facing, in my opinion, their toughest opponent. Even though Miami is the 5th seed, they managed to beat a number 1 seed in Houston, a number 2 seed in Texas and a number 4 seed in Indiana. All to which they were underdogs to win. Miami came out clutch when needed but the question still lies, can they beat the most dominant team of the tournament?
The plus money is hard to ignore here with all the upsets going on, and Miami has beat some of the toughest teams of the tournament. For those reason, its worth taking a flier here and going with Miami at +200 to win and advance to the National Championship. Uconn hasn’t faced a legitimate tough opponent except for Gonzaga. With experience on their side led by Jordan Miller and Isaiah Wong, Miami has the potential to pull off a possible upset.
