Milwaukee vs Cincinnati MLB Preview & Pick

Moneyline: Cincinnati -112
Runline: Cincinnati -1.5 (+180)
Total: 9.5

Welcome back to another episode of “How Are The Brewers Winning Again?” Milwaukee keeps collecting victories like your uncle collects casino reward cards — nobody fully understands it, but somehow it keeps working.

The Brewers enter Tuesday with a comfortable lead in the NL Central and just grabbed a 2-1 extra-inning win in the series opener. The funny part? Milwaukee ranks among baseball’s highest-scoring teams with 399 runs despite owning just 68 home runs, the fewest in the National League. Apparently, hitting the ball over the fence is optional.

Milwaukee Brewers: Manufacturing Runs Daily

The Brewers continue to annoy opposing pitchers with relentless small-ball baseball. One guy gets on base, another bunts, somebody pokes a single through the infield, and suddenly Milwaukee has another run.

Joey Ortiz played hero Monday with the go-ahead sacrifice fly in the 10th inning. It wasn’t glamorous, but neither is paying taxes, and both get the job done.

Brandon Sproat (1-4, 5.94 ERA) takes the mound looking for his second major league win. His last outing lasted only 3 2/3 innings after a hamstring cramp decided it had seen enough baseball. Sproat struck out six while allowing four runs. Since arriving from the Freddy Peralta trade, consistency has been about as common as a quiet sports bettor during the ninth inning.

Cincinnati Reds: Looking For Stability

The Reds are desperate to stop the bleeding. Cincinnati sits 10.5 games behind Milwaukee and continues searching for answers on the mound.

Nick Lodolo (2-2, 6.12 ERA) gets the ball, and June has not been kind to him. He’s carrying a 7.80 ERA this month and was tagged for seven runs and 11 hits in his most recent outing against the Mets. Opposing hitters have been finding baseballs like they have GPS trackers attached.

The good news? Lodolo has historically handled Milwaukee well, posting a 2.84 ERA in six career appearances against the Brewers. The bad news? Historical records don’t throw pitches.

LVSB Final Score Prediction

The Reds are slight favorites, but both starters bring plenty of volatility. Cincinnati may have the better pitching ceiling, but Milwaukee continues to find ridiculous ways to win games. At this point, betting against the Brewers feels like betting against gravity.

Expect runs, late drama, and at least one fan questioning every life decision by the seventh inning stretch.=

Final Score: Brewers 6, Reds 5
Lean: Milwaukee ML (-108)

Over 9.5 (-115)
