American League vs National League MLB Preview & Pick
Moneyline: National League -134
Runline: National League -1.5 (+145)
Total: 8.5
The 2026 MLB All-Star Game is baseball’s annual family reunion, where everyone promises to play nice until someone remembers bragging rights actually exist. The National League enters as the favorite at -134, with the run line at -1.5 (+145) and the total set at 8.5.
National League: Hollywood Lineup, Philly Power
Cristopher Sánchez gets the start after posting a stellar 2.62 ERA across 20 starts this season. He’s been one of baseball’s most dependable pitchers and now gets the chance to shine without anyone checking his pitch count every inning.
The lineup is stacked with stars. Kyle Schwarber leads off ahead of Juan Soto, Freddie Freeman, CJ Abrams, Max Muncy, Ozzie Albies, Brandon Marsh, Andy Pages and Drake Baldwin. That’s enough star power to make the red carpet jealous.
American League: Looking to Crash the Party
The American League turns to Dylan Cease, who finally earns his first All-Star start after years of dominating hitters. He enters with a 2.56 ERA and an AL-best 148 strikeouts, making him more than capable of matching the National League’s ace.
Mike Trout returns to the All-Star stage for the first time since 2019, joined by Yordan Alvarez, Shea Langeliers, Junior Caminero, Bobby Witt Jr., Cody Bellinger, Ben Rice, Riley Greene and Ernie Clement. If this group can’t score, somebody probably left the bats on the team bus.
LVSB Betting Outlook
The National League owns the deeper lineup and slightly stronger overall roster, but the American League has enough pop to keep things close. Expect plenty of offense early before the parade of relievers takes over and everyone starts throwing 100 mph for one inning.
Final Score: National 5, American 4
