Seattle vs Tennessee Preview & Prediction

Spread: Tennessee -4.5
Moneyline: Tennessee (-175)
Total: 38.0

Tennessee Actually Playing Starters

Tennessee hosts Seattle on Sunday night with the Titans favored by 4.5 and the total sitting at 38.0.

The biggest betting angle is pretty simple: Tennessee plans to use actual starters while Seattle is basically bringing the preseason survival squad.

Rookie quarterback Cam Ward is expected to play 20-to-25 snaps with the first-team offense after completing just 5 of 12 passes in Tennessee’s 19-13 win over San Francisco. Not exactly a masterpiece, but preseason football is where ugly stat lines go to find redemption.

Tony Pollard should also get early work as Tennessee tries to build timing in its new offense.

Seattle Protects Everybody

Seattle is taking the opposite approach after a physical joint practice Friday.

Most Seahawks starters will watch from the sideline while Drew Lock runs the reserve offense. Seattle lost its opener 17-7 to Dallas and generated very little offensively, so asking backups to suddenly become the Greatest Show on Turf feels ambitious.

Rookie running back Jadarian Price will sit, while Jake Bobo has been placed on injured reserve and is done for the season.

Trevon Diggs recently joined Seattle but isn’t expected to have much impact Sunday night.

LVSB Prediction

This is preseason, so naturally we are placing real money on a game where coaches care more about evaluating the 53rd roster spot than covering your spread.

Still, Tennessee has a noticeable early advantage. Ward, Pollard and the first-team offense should get meaningful snaps against Seattle reserves, giving the Titans a legitimate chance to build a halftime cushion.

Once the backups take over, things can get weird quickly, but Tennessee also has roster competition keeping the second half meaningful.

The 38.0 total looks slightly high considering Seattle’s offensive approach and its 17-7 opener.

LVSB Pick: Tennessee Titans -4.5

Total Lean: Under 38.0

Score Prediction: Titans 23, Seahawks 13
